Remarks
– Open is for any age from 18 years old.
– Please only nominate if you have enough players to fill a team – we have had many last-minute withdrawals as teams do not have enough players.
– If you are nominating 2 teams, please make sure you have enough for 2 teams. We cannot guarantee that game times might not clash.

Basic Rules
– FIFA rules will apply.
– Registration of maximum of 12 players (5-a-side: 10 players).
– 15 minute per game (5-a-side: depend number of teams, duration can be extended) .
– Rolling substitution.
– No offside.
– Pitch 70m x 45m with full-sized goals! (5-a-side: 50m x 30m, with 7s-sized goals).

10th Anniversary Phuket 7s Welcome Letter

Welcome to the 10th anniversary Phuket 7s of what has become the famous Phuket Soccer 7s!Logo_2012Phuket7s_w500

Who would believe it. From 2 visiting teams 10 years ago and playing on a vacant lot between two buildings to in excess of 90 teams from 20 different countries and playing at a world class sports and leisure facility at Thanyapura.

It might have taken 10 years but we finally have a womens category in the tournament. Welcome ladies!

Although we might have many new teams this year the best compliment our tournament has is that we have so many repeat offenders that have been coming back year after year. A special mention to the Shanghai Krauts for participating in every Phuket 7s tournament that we have held. Great effort!

To our many sponsors and supporters, thank you for your continued confidence in the tournaments and to the players, whether this is your first or tenth time in Phuket we hope your experience is a memorable one.

Our welcome and awards party venues relationship continue with our long standing supporters, the Tai Pan Nightclub and Soi Crocodile Bars.

We also acknowledge our partnership with the Patong Hotel & Resort where will be handled captains briefings and press conferences, and with a selection of tournament hotels including Patong Premier Resort, Kamala Beach Estate, Holiday Inn Resort Patong and Millennium Resort Patong Phuket.

And as always please play in the spirit that these Thai Soccer 7s tournaments are designed for. Have a great time in Phuket.
