PHI-PHI ISLANDS DISCOVERY
(full day)
|
|
The heavenly islands of Phi-Phi have always had the reputation
to possess one of the most beautiful water in the world, with
undersea floors unusually rich in corals and variety of fish.
Koh Phi-Phi Don, the island with the two moon crescents
is the only inhabited. Koh Phi-Phi Li has for unique
habitat the famous nests of Salangues (swallow of the sea),
which Thais go to collect at the risk of their lives several
tens of meters high on the abrupt cliffs of the island.
Viking paintings are also visible in an underground cave of
the island. And it is finally here, in the Maya Bay
where were shot several scenes of the movie "The beach",
with Léonardo Dicraprio.

PHANG NGA BAY BY SPEED-BOAT
(full day) |
|
Proceed to the pier then embark on board of the speed-boat
for a fabulous trip through one of the most fantastic as well
as beautiful parts of Thailand with hundreds of little and
large odd-shape limestone formations jutting out of the water,
with many silent islands, mangroves and caves. This is the
area, where the James Bond film "The man with the
golden gun" was shot. A stop is made at the Moslem
village of Ko Panyi, build on stilts out in the open sea.
Seafood lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon free at leisure in a private beach of Phang
Nga Bay.

 |
CANOE SAFARI (full day) |
|
To let you rock by the sound of paddlers. Go through narrow
tunnels, so narrow that you have to lay down in your canoe
with only the beam op your flash light to guide you. There,
where nature and wildlife are only one, you cannot be insensitive
and feel to respect this ecosystem so surprising. This is
now one of the most popular day tours out of Phuket, and with
good reason, there is no better way to appreciate the interior
world of strange geographic formations, flora and fauna of
Phang Nga Bay than to paddle quietly through its caves and
lagoons by inflatable canoe.

 |
ISLAND SAFARI (half/full day)
|
|
Travel along the west coast of Phuket Island with good views
along the way. Nature walk/jungle trek through the
tropical forest to see big trees, bamboos, palms and exotic
vegetation at Khao Pra Taew forest park. Visit the Gibbon
Re-habilitation project and see how gibbons are returned to
the wild. Elephant trek for about 30 minutes, learn
about the elephant conservation project. Meet young elephants
and see how they are trained. See how monkeys are trained
to pick coconuts. Nature canoe on a river, life jackets
are provided and an assistance boat is following.
Jeep safari into Chalong Highlands. See good views
over Phuket. Stop at a local house to see how Thai jungle
curry is made.
