Boca Seniors have been playing in Hong Kong’s Yau Yee League (YYL) since 1997. Frequent arrivals and departures being the nature of an expatriate’s life has meant that Boca’s forays into the top flight have been all too fleeting, with only two seasons in the YYL 1st Division, but we have won the YYL 2nd Division title twice, in the 1997/98 and 2001/02 seasons. We have been coming to Thai 7’s tournaments in Bangkok and Phuket since 2005, having mixed success over the years depending on how enthusiastically we have approached our usual ‘refuelling’ techniques the previous evenings. We have won the Open Bowl at Bangkok 7’s in 2005, runner’s up in the Open Bowl at Phuket in 2006, won the Masters Plate at Phuket in 2008 and runner’s up in the Open Plate at Phuket in 2009. Boca strongly believe in the philosophy of match days consisting of three ‘halves’ and you can guarantee that whether we win, lose or draw during the first two of these ‘halves’, Boca will be sure to outshine the opposition during the third half. Thank you for inviting Boca Seniors to come back again this year and we are looking forward to playing in our first Andaman 7’s tournament this year. We look forward to meeting again all the other teams this weekend and remember, it’s all about your performance in that crucial third half… SEE YOU IN BANGLA !!

We owe our team name to our shirt sponsors. Other than that we're just motley bunch of friends who for the past 5 odd years have come together every Tuesday for a game of futsal. What are we doing in playing 7-a-side in Phuket? Your guess is as good as ours. |

Farangutans FC, second participation for this team from the
North of Thailand...Behold the mighty Farangutans! Once a

machine - a force to be reckoned with both on and off the

GERMAN ALL STARS (Singapore) |
 |
 |
Country: Singapore
City: Singapore
Team Color: White or Red
Captain: Martin BockPlayers: German |
The German All Stars is a team with more than 30 years of history of competitive football in Singapore. Founded in the early 1970's the team has evolved from the long hair / sideburns 70's style to a good looking ensemble of young, hungry football loving rookies and veterans. The vision of the team is to offer a home far away from home and with this the key is playing competitive football in the Cosmo League / ESPZEN Mid Week League and having a lot of fun with regular social activities. |

HANOI DRINK TEAM (Vietnam)
|

 |
Country: Vietnam
City: Hanoi
Team Color: blue/white
Captain: Stephane
Players: French, English, Italien, USA |
After 2 frustrating campaigns for both clubs (the Hanoi Drink team losing the final of the Phuket Spicy open tournament in February and the Hanoi Capitals having done the same a bit earlier in the Andaman masters tournament last year), the 2 oldest expats teams from Hanoi (1993-94) have decided to merge their strengths hoping to reach the Graal this time (but not only in the night life for once)! Therefore the Hanoi Drinkers will welcome some of their domestic rivals but friends from the Capitals to build a sort of Hanoi United as we often did in the past… united on the pitch hopefully, united at the bar surely! |

KANTO
CELTS CLUB (Japan) |
 |

|
Country: Japan
City: Tokyo
Team Color: Green/White
Captain: Chris
Players: British, Irish,
Russian, Canadian, US... |
Kanto Celts are the most highly rated underachieving soccer
Team in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The Celts are not just
a football team but a social institution. Careful co-ordination
behind the scenes in kantoceltdom allows the stars juggle
football and fame in the face of various adversities like
work, women, alcohol and Eugene's ad-hoc nights out. With
the bosman ruling strictly in force here in Japan the Celts
have enlisted the services of overseas talents from as far
away as Russia, Canada, US, Ireland and the other country
next to it. Within the ranks we boast a Harvard Lawyer, Westlife
reject, zoolander himself and Roy Keanes' friend (on first
name basis). As the most recognised team in Japan and possibly
Asia-Pacific, Celts spend much of their time on tour to places
like Phuket, Nagano and Izumo representing Ireland and anything
green. Kanto Celts are always on the lookout for new talent
to nurture and strengthen the defence, midfield and strikers.

Country: Australia
City: Darwin
Team Color: White / Black
Captain: Rob Watt / Mark Finestone Players: Scots, English, Australian and a Kiwi
|
Established in 1996 to combat the epidemic of clean living, teatotaliterian football teams existing in Northern Australia during the nineties. The Lions, a group of ex pat brits were quick to earn a reputation as socially capable of competing in the premier division. Wining best social team five years running. Our first tour as a playing side was to Tindal, home of the F14 and our nations top guns. You can always get a cold one in Tindal. Since then we have toured such exotic places as Mandora, Dundee Beach, Litchfield and Humpty Doo and a cold one was enjoyed in each. As for playing football its only two halves from a cold one. |
