All teams are invited to provide a team picture, logo and colour, players nationality,
with a short resume that will be presented in the Tournament Programme and Website.

1TM FC (Singapore)

Country: Singapore
City: Singapore
Team Color: Red and white stripes
Captain: Stephen Robinon / Antony Szafranek
Players: English Scottish, Irish, American, Vietnamese, Nigerian and Scouse

Team was formed in May 2004 primarily from a combination of Brewerkz FC and Barbarians FC players. The club has now integrated with Latini FC and hence has more continental European 'technical' footballers.... Allez! 1TM is part of a family with roots go back to at least 1995 when the team was known as Paribas FC because of its association with the French bank of that name. With the new millennium came a fresh start and at the beginning of the 2000 season, the Club changed its name to Barbarians. The Barbarians are a truly international side, with players hailing from all over Europe, North America and Asia.

AIOLI UNITED FC (Singapore)

Country: Singapore
City: Singapore
Team Color: Black/Red striped Jersey
Captain: Bernard Goaoc Players: Fench, Italian, Spanish.

AIOLI UNITED, name of the team comes from the defunct but previously acclaimed Provence Restaurant in Singapore : AIOLI. To compensate the impact of long years of Wine and Cheese abuse and maybe not to have guilty conscience, we decided to form AIOLI UNITED to join ESPZEN, the Singaporean amateur football league. Most of us are French working in Singapore, but some good friends decided to choose AIOLI to express their football skill. Is it not a revolution in the Football history : Italian and French playing the same football ;-) Key Dates : August 2005 : first game for AIOLI in ESPZEN Division 6, January 2007 : AIOLI is promoted in ESPZEN Division 3, Mai 2008 : New kit for AIOLI : Red and Black stiped jersey. Is it to honor our Italian Friend ? ;-), July 2008 : AIOLI in ESPZEN Division 1

BOMBAY GYMKHANA (India)

Country: India
City: Numbai
Team Color: Yellow/Black
Captain: Hashim D’Souza / Sanjeev Saran Mehra
Players: Indian

Having put in an outstanding performance in the bars & clubs in February 2009, the boys from Bombay Gymkhana now return for their 2nd visit to Phuket with the hope of taking their ‘off the field’ form onto the pitch. Key players (pun intended) to watch out for are 'looking 4 love' Lodha & our slow yet amazingly quick handed keeper Singh. Keep an eye on the next Indian Gary Neville in defence, Bhardwaj. Malik & Siganporia will add the guts & glory in midfield and will also be a sound bet for a red card at some point so please don’t make them angry by tackling them. Leading by example will be veteran Rahul Raichand & his commander-in–chief Hashim D’Souza who will encourage the troops to work hard to chase the ball around under the blazing sun and then work even harder at chasing the skirt around Bangla Road at night. 2009 Spicy Soccer 7s, Plate Champions Cup, Open

HANOI DRINK TEAM (Vietnam)

Country: Vietnam
City: Hanoi
Team Color: Light blue and white
Captain: Stephane
Players: French, English, Italian, USA.

This year the Hanoi Drink team has decided, for the first time ever, to be part of the 2 back to back tournaments organized in Phuket… which means 2 extra days of football and many extra nights of entertainment! Some of our old glories will leave the squad with tears in their eyes after the Andaman 7s (masters category) and some of our young guns will join the group with smiles on their faces for the Phuket 7s (open category). They will probably bring us some more skills and energy on the pitch but will certainly show less composure and experience at the bar!

HIBERNIANS SINGAPORE (Singapore)

Country: Singapore
City: Singapore
Team Color: Green / White
Captain: Tunners
Players: International

Hibernians FC of Singapore was established with the aim of providing a recreational outlet for Expats in the form of regular soccer games and a social environment for teammates and fellow soccer enthusiasts. Shortly after forming in 1996 the founding members adopted their present-day name, though the origins of this decision is still very much in dispute. One version has it that the group compromised on a designation that would best represent those Scots and Irish on the team who predominated (thus associating themselves with an Edinburgh-based club that is represented by the Latin word for "Irish"). The more widely accepted version, however, has it that Big Eddie Harkin of Donegal insisted that the side be called as such, a decree with which no one was going to argue. The year 2000 was also significant in that Hibernians FC applied for "Society" status from the Singaporean government, paving the way for the sponsorship they presently enjoy from Muddy Murphy's Irish Pub. Since its inception Hibernians FC, or "Hibs," has progressed from one team to a club of now over 100 members with 8 competitive teams in various forms and competitions.

SHANGHAI KRAUTS FC (China)
Logo SHANGHAI KRAUTS FC (China)

Country: China
City: Shanghai
Team Color: White Shirts, Black Shorts, White Socks or Blue Shirts, Black Shorts, White Socks.
Captain: Sebastian Stoeckl
Players: German, USA, Netherlands, Austria, Spain
and Finland.

Shanghai Krauts FC was founded in 1995 by some football loving Germans in Shanghai. For 17 years the Krauts have been playing in the maybe strongest expat league all over the world, the Shanghai International Football League (SIFL).
Also the Krauts enjoy some good reputation all over Asia, having won the Asian Championships some years ago in Bangkok as well as attending the Phukets' tournaments for 10 years in a row. Normally one week later…
This time the Krauts show up with the strongest squad ever led "the Cat" Sebastian. Surprisingly for all of us, a dutch, Chris will join the team for the first time but definitely not shoot any penalties. They will be taken by our spanish midfielder Joel or the fin "Iceman" Antti. To get some more international flavor in the team, Krauts will show up with the american version of Diego Armando Maradona, Ian Flores. Up in front, not just a highly talented long distance runner, but also scoring goals out of nowhere, Thorben Schroeder aka. Thorsten Roeder from the northern german lowlands.
Our midfield will be ruled by Mr. Yoga himself, King of any dangerous throw-in Agostinho Goncalves and Manuel Mauritz, a highly talented a austrian which is rarely enough to find on a soccer pitch!
ZICKEZACKE ZICKEZACKE… SHANGHAI KRAUTS…

SHANGHAI LIONS FC (China)

Country: China
City: Shanghai
Team Color: Black
Captain: Charles Grorg
Players: French, Belgium, Dutch, Britsh, German...

We are a team mainly from French origin (over 50%) of the team, but we are proud to have players from Germany, Cameroon/Togo, Spain, UK, Holland, etc…
Last 2010 – 2011 season, we finished runner-up of the Shanghai Int. League and won the SIFL Cup, while our 2nd team won the SPL and the SPL Cup. We definitively are one of “THE TEAMS TO BEAT…’ in Shanghai, and we will try to extend it to Asia this year….. Our accomplishments of the last years have been awarded with the SHANGHAI SPORTS TEAM OF YEAR (2010).
Some of our key players' introduction: Jerome “4trous”: repented heavy drinker, lots of hairs on his body, big mouth, small dick, will never be able to score a header… Francois “Fiotte”: almost veteran now but still kicking strikers asses…he has made his life goal not be on time to any meeting ever…. Charles “Gorge”: strong, handsome, funny, great forward or defense player, might be confused with Rooney… (for his skills of course) (guess who wrote the article…) Flying Gwen: better comic than player, he spends his time imitating other players of the team…If only he could imitate Puyol in our defense… Al’âne Mandale: AKA Juda….has a lot to prove in the team this year….
In the name of all the Shanghai LIONS team players, we are proud to participate in this tournament and are in to win it!

THE BIGCHILLI FC (Thailand)

Country: Thailand
City: Bangkok
Team Color:
Captain: Costa
Players: International

Formed two months ago by a group of Bangkok-based expats who meet every Thursday night for a sociable kick around, The BigChilli FC is a hot new contender on the Asian soccer 7s circuit. Well, at least that’s what we’re hoping – the team has yet to play any competitive games, gain any sort of fitness, and adapt so we can play during the day without getting sunstroke. Marshaled by Aussie captain Costa Charles, the team is linked with Thailand’s number one expat magazine, The BigChilli (www.thebigchilli.com), and sponsored by Tune Hotels and GS Battery. Making up the motley crew are Adam Purcell (England), Carl Dixon (Australia), Dan Baumber (England), Dan Giles (England), Danny Duncombe (England), David Eccles (England), Elliot McMahon (England), Haydn Drew (England), and Mark Davies (Wales/the moon – we’re not too sure). Considering the Andaman International Soccer 7s line-up includes established teams with oodles of experience, The BigChilli FC is coming into this tournament as true underdogs. Hopefully we won’t whimper home with our tails between our legs. Well…You know what we mean.
