Bangkok is once again our destination, and we’re stronger than ever with a new tournament format in the Kingdom Capital that will attract the most teams, both men and women.
The Bangkok International Soccer 5s is scheduled to take place every year in the Kingdom’s Capital city. This tournament will be for the Open Men & Women, and Masters Men Over 35s, 40s, 45s 50s & 55s.
The Bangkok 5s is an invitation tournament that provides a socially competitive environment for players who approach the game with the right attitude and in the right spirit. With no prize money at stake, teams take part for one reason only, their love of soccer. This year the competition could attracted a minimum of 16-20 teams from all over the world, and it will become a major attraction in Asia for expatriate soccer players who will come from Asian countries, Australia, Middle-East, UK, France and Germany.
The tournament playing venue has been secured with at the best Bangkok football facilties to meet our standards: Super Star Arena, with FIFA Quality artificial turf pitches of 50m x 35m, and 7-sized goals. (Local teams are playing 6 or 7-a-side there)
The tournaments is structured to ensure that all teams have the opportunity to win something through Cup, Plate and Bowl sections. All teams play a minimum of five games.

Location: Super Star Arena located in Ladprao 80 is a premier 7-a-side football facility recognized for its high-standard and competitive atmosphere for international tournament.
Field: Artifical Grass Pitch of 50m x 30m, with 7-sized goals.

Tournament Information & Basic Rules
- FIFA rules will apply
- Registration of maximum of 10 players
- Game time will be one period of 15 – with the size of the field and the heat we feel this will be challenging. (just like our 7s on a large field).
- Interchange / rolling substitutions will apply.
- No offside.
- The field size is 50m x 30m with 7-a-side goals (bigger than your traditional 5-a-side / this size field would normally play 6 or 7-a-side).
- We will only be playing 5-a-side so it will be challenging.
- We expect to play with the existing field markings – the rules will relate to these markings.
- We will not have throw ins – the ball will be played back into the field on the ground.
- The goalkeeper will not be able to kick the ball from their hands.
- Teams will play a minimum of 5 games
- Please only nominate if you have enough players to fill a team
- If you are nominating 2 teams, please make sure you have enough for 2 teams. We cannot guarantee that game times might not clash.
- A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will need to be paid to demonstrate your commitment.
Super Star Arena Playing Venue (Bangkok)
Super Star Arena is not your run-of-the-mill football pitch, it has been certified as one of Thailand’s Official International Standard venues, endorsed by Carabao and the Thai 7-a-Side Football Association. Located on Lat Phrao Soi 80, the arena is easily accessible and comes with on-site restaurants and spacious areas to accommodate teams. The four pitches 50m x 30m are top choices for players seeking quality and competitive atmosphere like the Bangkok 5s.
