Welcome to the 10th anniversary Phuket 7s of what has become the famous Phuket Soccer 7s!
Who would believe it. From 2 visiting teams 10 years ago and playing on a vacant lot between two buildings to in excess of 90 teams from 20 different countries and playing at a world class sports and leisure facility at Thanyapura.
It might have taken 10 years but we finally have a womens category in the tournament. Welcome ladies!
Although we might have many new teams this year the best compliment our tournament has is that we have so many repeat offenders that have been coming back year after year. A special mention to the Shanghai Krauts for participating in every Phuket 7s tournament that we have held. Great effort!
To our many sponsors and supporters, thank you for your continued confidence in the tournaments and to the players, whether this is your first or tenth time in Phuket we hope your experience is a memorable one.
Our welcome and awards party venues relationship continue with our long standing supporters, the Tai Pan Nightclub and Soi Crocodile Bars.
